Bastide village of Monflanquin
The bastide village of Monflanquin was founded in 1256 by Alphonse de Poitiers (also referred to as the "Black Prince").
The village is positioned on a hilltop and offers magnificent views of the surroundings. On a sunny day, you can literally see tens of kilometers away.
It has a beautiful market place with the arcades surrounding it. Also all the little streets leading up to it are gorgeous.
There are plenty of restaurants with a high standard of food and service.
